ORACLE, the decision layer

ORACLE exists to answer one question with discipline: should capital move here, why, and what would change the answer? It takes the signals collected by OCTOPUS and turns them into a decision you can interrogate, not a black-box number you are asked to trust.

An explainable 0–100 score

Every market ORACLE covers gets a score from 0 to 100 and a verdict. The score is a summary, never the substance: underneath it sits a full decomposition, which factors pushed it up, which pulled it down, which inputs are uncertain, and how sensitive the result is to assumptions. If the system cannot explain a number, it does not ship the number.

Six axes

Markets are evaluated across six axes: demographics (DEM), economy (ECO), infrastructure (INF), real estate (RE), education and talent (EDU) and risk (RISK). The axes combine into the composite score and display as a signature, so you see the shape of an opportunity, a demographics-led story reads differently from an infrastructure-led one, even at the same headline score.

Five layers from data to verdict

(1) The data layer collects the available information; (2) the scoring layer evaluates each variable; (3) the intelligence layer finds relationships between variables; (4) the scenario layer projects 5-to-15-year outcomes; (5) the verdict layer produces the score, a recommendation and a risk profile. There are no hidden weights, and every number can be traced back to its inputs, the standard set out in the methodology brief.

Scenarios and fragile verdicts

A verdict that flips on a small assumption is a different animal from one with room to spare, so ORACLE is designed to show not just the verdict but how far it sits from the nearest boundary, under conservative, base and aggressive weighting profiles. A recommendation should come with its own decision-change triggers: what evidence, if it arrived tomorrow, would overturn it.

Validation

ORACLE is backtested against history: score a market at a past date, then measure what the residential price index actually did in the years that followed, verified against real transactions. One market never proves a model, so validation runs across a basket of markets against the market average, not cherry-picked winners. Retrospective results carry an explicit hindsight caveat, and the forward track record is being built decision by decision, in the open.

Status

ORACLE is in active development; the scores in public demonstrations are illustrative until the live model ships. Early access is opening to first investors and partners as capacity allows. Nothing on this page is investment advice: models propose, people decide.
